Micah Orliss, PhD
Dr. Micah Orliss is a psychologist and the Program Area Lead of Project Heal, CHLA’s Trauma Psychology program. Project Heal provide evidenced-based mental health services for youth and families impacted by trauma, particularly those from underserved communities. Project Heal also has APA Accredited training programs for psychology interns and fellows, helping to train future trauma psychologists. His clinical expertise is working with youth in foster care, particularly infants relinquished via Safe Haven laws. He is also an Agency Mentor in the Incredible Years Evidence Based Practice, leading national and international trainings for the Small Group Dina child program. He recently served as California’s AAP / CDC Children’s Mental Health Champion.
