Karen Rogers, PhD

Dr. Rogers is a licensed clinical psychologist and Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at USC Keck School of Medicine. She is the Program Area Leader for Project Heal, the trauma and foster care treatment and training program at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) Mental Health Services/University of Southern California University Center for Excellence on Developmental Disabilities (USC UCEDD). She provides training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TFCBT) and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) for psychology interns and fellows working with a diverse community mental health population. Previously, she was Director of Prevention and Community Education at a community mental health center in New Hampshire. Dr. Rogers completed a post-doctoral fellowship in child and family forensic psychology at Dartmouth Medical School. Her clinical specialty is assessment and treatment of children and families exposed to trauma.
