Scott is a clinical social worker with extensive experience in mental health and school crisis. He previously oversaw programs, funding and advocacy efforts for school mental health and crisis response/preparedness at the Connecticut State Department of Education. Prior to that, Scott was on faculty with Yale University Child Study Center where he coordinated training for the Regional School Crisis Prevention and Response Program and was a clinician with the Child Development-Community Policing Program that was developed at Yale. Scott also has many years’ experience in community mental health, disaster response and government policy. His personal interests include anthropology and the development of social behaviors.
